From late August to early September, CNBM Equipment Group Co., Ltd. participated in three major industry events in Brazil, Mexico and Germany, presenting its latest technologies and equipment for the mining, cement and building materials industries while expanding engagement with customers and partners across the Americas and Europe.
The international program included EXPOSIBRAM 2026 in Belo Horizonte, the FICEM Technical Congress 2026 in Mexico City and steinexpo 2026 in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden, Germany. Together, the three events provided the Group with an opportunity to understand changing market requirements, demonstrate its integrated capabilities and advance a global business model that combines technology development, equipment manufacturing, engineering delivery and lifecycle services.
Sun Jun, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Vice Chairman of CNBM Equipment Group, and Fan Daorong, Deputy General Manager of the Group, participated in the program. Sun Jian, Deputy General Manager, joined the delegation at FICEM 2026.
Expanding Engagement Across the Americas
The Group’s market outreach began at EXPOSIBRAM 2026, held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, from 24 to 27 August. At one of Latin America’s leading mining events, CNBM Equipment Group presented its R&D capabilities, complete equipment portfolio, project delivery experience and lifecycle services to mining companies and industry representatives.
Working with Sinoma International’s Equipment Technology Service Center in Brazil, the Group’s business units introduced solutions covering crushing, grinding, environmental protection, wear-resistant materials and other mining applications. Discussions with customers focused on project requirements, equipment performance, local technical support and potential models for long-term cooperation.
During the event, the Group also exchanged views with the Brazilian Mining Institute (IBRAM) on opportunities in mining equipment, technology development and project implementation. The discussions reinforced the importance of combining global technical resources with a stronger local service presence to support the modernization and sustainable development of Brazil’s mining industry.
Following EXPOSIBRAM, the Group participated in the FICEM Technical Congress 2026, held at Expo Santa Fe in Mexico City from 31 August to 4 September. The congress brought together cement producers, technical specialists and more than 60 technology suppliers from across Latin America and the Caribbean to discuss operational efficiency, cost optimization, asset performance and the transition towards more sustainable cement production.
Coordinated by CNBM Equipment Group’s Americas Regional Center, the exhibition brought together the Group’s advanced equipment and engineering businesses. Through detailed equipment models, technical videos and application materials, the Group presented its capabilities across both cement and mining applications.
The portfolio on display included heavy-duty crushers, roller presses, vertical grinding systems, pyroprocessing equipment, bucket elevators, clinker conveying systems and low-emission environmental solutions. The Group also highlighted technologies aligned with the industry’s low-carbon and digital transformation, including low-carbon pyroprocessing, separate grinding and optimized blending solutions, and smart plant management and control platforms.
Carlos, a representative of the Americas Regional Center, delivered a technical presentation entitled *Application of Autonomous Haulage in Smart Mining*. Drawing on practical applications, the presentation examined how autonomous mining trucks can reduce operating costs, improve transport efficiency and enhance safety in open-pit mining operations.
In parallel with the congress, the regional team visited customer headquarters, technical centers and production facilities in Mexico and other North and Central American markets. These visits enabled the Group to gain a more detailed understanding of local operating conditions and customer priorities and to discuss customized solutions for new projects, plant upgrades, equipment modernization and long-term technical services.
Advancing Collaboration Between HAZEMAG and Chinese Manufacturing Resources
The Group also participated in steinexpo 2026, held from 2 to 5 September in an active basalt quarry in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden, Hesse, Germany. As Europe’s largest quarry demonstration trade fair, steinexpo enables customers to observe heavy equipment and processing systems under real operating conditions rather than in a conventional indoor exhibition environment.
The 2026 event brought together 328 exhibitors representing more than 400 brands and attracted 62,965 industry visitors. Live demonstrations covered the full quarry production process, including extraction, material transport, crushing, screening, mineral processing and finished-product handling.
HAZEMAG, a long-standing steinexpo exhibitor and a member of CNBM Equipment Group, presented its mining and crushing technologies at the event. The Group delegation reviewed a new mobile crushing solution jointly developed by HAZEMAG and the Group’s Tangshan manufacturing base.
The jointly developed product combines HAZEMAG’s expertise in crushing technology, product development and international markets with the Tangshan base’s manufacturing, supply-chain and delivery capabilities. It represents a practical outcome of deeper collaboration between the Group’s international technology resources and its manufacturing operations in China.
The delegation also met customers and industry partners to discuss demand in the European mining equipment market and assess emerging trends in mobile processing, automation, equipment reliability and lower-carbon quarry operations.
Building a Globally Integrated and Locally Responsive Business
Participation in the three events demonstrated the breadth of CNBM Equipment Group’s portfolio, extending from individual machines and complete equipment systems to engineering implementation, digital technologies and lifecycle services. It also reflected the Group’s strategy of coordinating its technology brands, manufacturing bases, engineering teams and regional service resources around customer requirements in different markets.
In the Americas, the Group will continue to strengthen the capabilities of its regional center and local service network, improving its response to customer needs throughout project development, equipment delivery, commissioning, operation and modernization.
In the mining equipment sector, the Group will further integrate HAZEMAG’s technology, brand and international market strengths with its R&D and manufacturing resources in China. By advancing a model built around R&D in Germany, manufacturing in China and markets worldwide, the Group aims to accelerate the international deployment of jointly developed products and provide customers with competitive solutions supported by responsive local services.
Through continued technological collaboration and closer engagement with customers, CNBM Equipment Group will further expand its presence in the global cement and mining industries and support customers in improving productivity, operational reliability, safety and environmental performance.
