The Brazilian Mining Expo & Congress (EXPOSIBRAM 2026), organized by the Brazilian Mining Institute (IBRAM), was held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, from 24 to 27 August. CNBM Equipment Group Co., Ltd. was invited to participate in the event. Sun Jun, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Vice Chairman of CNBM Equipment Group, and Fan Daorong, Deputy General Manager of the Group, attended the exhibition.

Alongside mining industry representatives from 16 countries and regions, CNBM Equipment Group presented its latest technologies and solutions and exchanged insights on industry development. The Group’s subsidiaries and business units worked closely with Sinoma International’s Equipment Technology Service Center in Brazil to prepare a comprehensive exhibition showcasing the Group’s R&D capabilities, complete equipment solutions, project delivery expertise, lifecycle services, strong operational performance and extensive track record.
During the event, the team held in-depth discussions with key customers to better understand their project requirements. It introduced the Group’s technological strengths and service capabilities and explored potential models for future cooperation, laying a solid foundation for deeper and broader partnerships.

Sun Jun also met with Pablo Cesário, the newly appointed CEO of IBRAM. Cesário welcomed CNBM Equipment Group’s continued commitment to the Brazilian mining market and its contribution to the development of the country’s mining industry. He expressed the hope that the two sides would make full use of IBRAM’s industry platform to expand cooperation in mining equipment, technology development and project implementation, supporting the transformation, upgrading and sustainable growth of Brazil’s mining sector.
Through extensive discussions at the exhibition and continued follow-up with prospective customers, CNBM Equipment Group received strong recognition for its end-to-end lifecycle services, advanced equipment manufacturing capabilities, and expertise in digitalization, intelligent technologies and low-carbon solutions. The team also presented the Group’s local service network and long-term development plans for Brazil and the wider Americas, further strengthening customers’ confidence in its project delivery and service capabilities.
A number of customers expressed a clear interest in pursuing closer cooperation with CNBM Equipment Group. The Group will continue to work with customers and industry partners across the region to create shared value and achieve mutually beneficial growth.
The Group’s participation was coordinated by its International Services business. Its R&D, roller press, vertical mill, environmental solutions, crushing equipment and wear-resistant materials businesses participated in the exhibition together with HAZEMAG.
