In June 2026, the themed art exhibition “Panda Art Connects the World” opened at the Palacio Legislativo de San Lázaro, home of Mexico’s Chamber of Deputies. Held in conjunction with the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the exhibition brought together giant pandas, football and tai chi in works that combined elements of Sichuan culture with imagery familiar to Mexican audiences.

Through the shared languages of art and sport, the exhibition celebrated cultural diversity and highlighted the importance of dialogue and mutual understanding between China and Mexico.

Initiated by the Mexico–China Parliamentary Friendship Group and organized by Mexico’s Ministry of Culture and the China Cultural Center in Mexico, the exhibition brought together representatives of public institutions, cultural organizations and the local business community. As a council member of an association representing Chinese enterprises in Mexico, CNBM Equipment Group Mexico was invited to participate.

The company’s participation reflects its commitment to engaging with local communities alongside the development of its business operations in Mexico. For an international engineering company, localization involves more than delivering projects and services. It also requires respect for local culture, active participation in community life and long-term relationships built on mutual understanding.

By taking part in cultural initiatives of this kind, CNBM Equipment Group Mexico seeks to strengthen connections with local partners and communities while contributing to closer people-to-people ties between China and Mexico. Such exchanges can also help create a stronger social foundation for sustained economic, industrial and business cooperation.

CNBM Equipment Group Mexico remains committed to localized and mutually beneficial development. Going forward, the company will continue to engage with local stakeholders, support appropriate cultural and community initiatives, and contribute to stronger China–Mexico relations through responsible business practices and meaningful local participation.
